I had a wonderful stay. the breakfast was hot and hearty, and my room was quite spacious, though I found fewer dining options nearby than expected. Definitely coming back!

The room included a kettle with tea and coffee-making facilities. The shower delivered hot and powerful water, making for a refreshing experience.
The furnishings felt a bit outdated, and there were some areas in the bathroom that showed signs of wear, like a floor coming up and a window that didn’t close properly. Breakfast options were limited and lacked any substantial variety, with some items seeming to be microwaved, which detracted from the overall meal experience.

cozy, cozy, cozy
I loved the warm and inviting atmosphere of the guesthouse, especially the charming historical architecture with stained glass and rich carpeting. The breakfast was good, featuring fresh, homemade options with very nice local ingredients. Michael and Mora’s personalized hospitality. They even accommodated my dietary restrictions with gluten-free options!
100% recommend 😍❤️

it’s such a shame that redclyffe guesthouse didn't live up to my expectations. the room was exceedingly dark, and the lack of places to sit other than the bed is quite absurd. oh, and the leaking sink? delightful! was hoping for an upgrade to make up for it, but I suppose that's too much to ask. i almost wrote a good review but just couldn’t.

missingWrote a review on Oct 27good valueclean roomspacious roomdated decorlimited breakfast
Location shines. a quick stroll takes you to UCC and the city center. My room was spacious and clean, with a kettle for tea and coffee, which I appreciated. The heating kept the room cozy despite the chilly weather outside. The hosts were welcoming, making me feel at home. However, the breakfast left much to be desired. Limited options with cheap yogurt and a small portion of fruit made it underwhelming. The breakfast atmosphere felt lacking. Also, the decor appeared dated and required some updating. It would benefit from better bathroom cleanliness and perhaps a bit of a refresh in the common areas. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience offered good value.

I had a lovely stay at the Redclyffe Guesthouse. The room was spacious and clean, with a wonderful electric space heater that made my stay comfortable during the chilly evenings. The hosts were exceedingly welcoming, and the breakfast was truly delightful, featuring fresh options like poached eggs and delicious sausages.
Some facilities need updating.

Excellent stay with a delightful breakfast
I really enjoyed my stay. the room was spacious and equipped with a kettle for tea and coffee, which was convenient. Breakfast was top-notch, with a freshly cooked poached egg and sausages that kept me energized for my day of exploration. The host was welcoming and made the experience even better. A bit of background music during breakfast would have added to the ambiance, as it felt a tad quiet.

Stayed in a large room with both a single and double bed, which provided ample space. Maura, the host, was very pleasant and informative. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying, featuring scrambled eggs with flavorful seasoning and bacon. Additionally, the location was convenient for accessing the city center, with a bus stop just outside for €2.20.
Some areas of the guesthouse felt a bit tired.
